LabVIEW example: adding two numbers

The first example shows us how to add two numbers in G programming language and how to display the result. It includes two pictures, one presenting the front panel and another presenting block diagram.

Front panel

Block diagram

Graphical objects on the picture are three float variables and functional adding block. It has been mentioned before that control objects have darker border. The control objects in this example are variables A and B, which are inputs in the functional block and their value can be changed by clicking on arrows on their left side. Variable C is indicator object and has lighter border. Its value can’t be changed, since it is output.
